Pat Buckley's Personal Irish Tours is the latest chapter in the life and times of the guy you see above.. Having initially trained and qualified as a Professional Hotel Manager, I somehow found myself to be President of a food supply business. Through my business, became acquainted with many great characters throughout Ireland. In 2005, the food business was bought by the “big boys” and I found myself with time on my hands. Having spent a couple of months fishing, walking, golfing & sampling the Guinness in my native Killarney, I was asked by a friend to escort some American guests around the southwest of Ireland. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the experience and made some new friends into the bargain. Having discussed it with my wife, Joan, we decided to set up PersonalIrishTours.com. After all, You can never have too many friends. When you tour Ireland with me, I do not ask you to choose from a prepackaged and mass produced brochure. I prefer for you to use my life experience to help you discover your own Ireland.
